So’Ham Retreats

Over the past summers, parents with tender, open hearts have gathered at the “Grief & Love” Retreats at Soham Retreat Center in Sweden.

These days together have been filled with gentle sharing and deep listening — with tears and laughter, quiet walks and swims, nourishing meals, song, yoga, creative art, and moments of meditation — all held within the warmth, safety, and quiet magic of being truly understood.

Each person arrived as part of a community no one ever wishes to join, united by the profound pain of losing a child to fentanyl poisoning or substance use. In that shared sorrow, there was also deep compassion, recognition, and love.

It was a truly special time with an extraordinary group of parents — a week marked by connection, courage, love, and the first tender steps toward healing.
